Liletta Thompson, Neighbor

 Liletta Thompson is a Domestic Violence Survivor, Event Coordinator, Motivational Speaker, Women’s Group Facilitator for Domestic Violence, Television Producer /Host, and CEO and Founder of her own company entitled Big Sis & Company.  Liletta has received training in Crisis Counseling, Group Counseling, Psychology, and Domestic Violence counseling.  After working with women in the domestic violence arena, Liletta decided that she wanted to do something to help educate people about domestic violence and its affects. In 2008, along with ACTS/Turning Points, Liletta coordinated and managed a Domestic Violence Awareness Conference featuring local and national speakers.  Liletta was interviewed on several radio shows for her work on the conference and in the domestic violence field. 

Also in 2008, Liletta was finally able to give birth to her company- Big Sis & Company.  Through Big Sis & Company, Liletta has been able to continue outreach programs, provide resources for domestic violence Victims, and facilitate meetings and programs that assist domestic violence victims.

In 2009, Liletta became the Host and Producer of the Local HIT TV show “Big Sis & Company – Focused on the Issues”.  This local TV Talk Show, which currently airs in VA and Baltimore, discusses issues that affect the community. 

Liletta is currently continuing her efforts in making the public aware of domestic violence, as well as providing tools on how to have healthy family relationships.
