Prince William County Officer Dies in Line of Duty
The officer died in a crash on Nokesville Road, near the Super Target.
A young Prince William County Police officer died Monday in a crash on Nokesville Road. Chris Yung, 35, a seven-year employee of the department, was assigned to the traffic division and was traveling on his motorcycle to another incident just after 2 p.m. when the crash happened. The driver of a mini-van was traveling north on Nokesville Road and made a left hand turn into the Super Target shopping center into the officer's path, who was traveling south on the roadway. Yung was transported to a local hospital, where he later died, Prince William County Police spokesman Jonathan Perok said. No one else was injured in the crash.
