Manassas Man Charged After Crashing Car into Manassas Park 7-Eleven
Police said the man was driving without liability insurance when he lost control of the vehicle and sent it crashing into the convenience store.
A man trying to make a left onto Manassas Drive from Centreville Road lost control of his car and sent it careening into a nearby 7-Eleven store. Carl Martin Jr., 56, of Manassas is charged with not having liability insurance, Manassas Park Police said. The incident happened at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the 7-Eleven at 8521 Centreville Rd. across from Roy Rogers Restaurant. Police said the Martin was traveling south on Centreville Road (Route 28), tried to make a left turn, lost control and kept traveling through the parking lot, eventually stopping inside the convenience store.
