VRE Santa Train Tickets Go on Sale Monday
Tickets for the annual event sell out fast, Virginia Railway Express officials say. Last year more than 7,500 sold.
Tickets for the highly-popular Virginia Railway Express Santa Train event go on sale Monday at 9 a.m. This year's Santa Train is on Dec. 8; trains will depart from the Manassas, Burke Centre, Woodbridge and Leeland Road stations. More information, inlcuding train depature times, are available on the VRE website. Each year the Virginia Railway Express allows children and their parents to ride the commuter train and meet Santa, Mrs. Claus and their helpers—who will all hand out candy canes, coloring books and VRE Operation Lifesaver rail safety information.
