Drug-Related Arrests Made at Manassas Park-Area Home

Police searched a home on Rugby Road in Yorkshire, near Manassas Park.

Investigators with a multi-jurisdictional task force searched a home in Yorkshire and found several illegal and prescription narcotics. The search warrant was executed back in January, but police didn't publicize it, because they didn't want to hinder the investigation into morphine and marijuana distribution in the area,  according to a Prince William Police Department release.  On Jan. 22, detectives from the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force discovered marijuana and psilocybin inside a home on the 7800 block of Rugby Road and arrested two people. Manassas Park, Area Police Wrap up Ecstasy, Meth Investigation

One person was arrested as a result of the multi-jurisdictional investigation, according to Prince William County Police.

Investigators from three police departments recently wrapped up an investigation into the sell of ecstasy and crystal methamphetamine in the Manassas area.  Officers with the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force conducted the investigation and netted one drug arrest.  Edwin Alexander Orrillo,26, of 11208 Hollywood Rd in Hagerstown, Md., is charged with two count of distributing a schedule I or II narcotic, Prince William Police reports show. Ecstasy was seized and the suspect was taken into custody near Portsmouth and Sudley roads in Manassas on Monday. Orrillo remains in custody under a $40,000 secured bond. Drugs, Cash Seized from Room at Olde Towne Inn

Police arrested two men after executing a search warrant at the Manassas motel.

"The following information was supplied by the Manassas Park Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction." Detectives working with a special, multi-jurisdictional drug team made two arrests and found drugs in a motel room in Old Town Manassas after executing a search warrant. Officers with the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force executed the warrant in Room 40 at Olde Towne Inn, located at 9403 Main Street, on March 28. Police said they didn't publicize details of the search at the time because they needed to protect their ongoing investigation into drug deals in the area.
