Loss of a Police Officer: Readers React
Patch readers posted their condolences for the family of the late Officer Chris Yung, the Prince William County Police Department and others affected by his recent death.
On Dec. 31, Officer Chris Yung became the third officer in the history of the Prince William County Police Department to die in the line of duty. Yung was passing through a green light on Nokesville Road in Bristow, with his sirens and lights on, when the driver of a Dodge Caravan made a left turn and hit his motorcycle, authorities said. He died later at a local hospital. Patch readers immediately posted words of condolences to Yung's family and members of the police department. M.L. Young: My heart goes out to Officer Yung's family.
