Parents, students and staff packed the Manassas Park Middle School auditorium to recognize outstanding students Thursday.
Many Manassas Park Middle School students were recognized during a special assembly at the school this morning. Parents and staff proudly watched as 286 students received certificates for outstanding academic excellence during the first semester of the school year. “I am proud of your hard work and determination,” Principal Eric Neff said during his opening remarks. He went on to congratulate the students for their academic success and keeping schoolwork high priority in their lives. Neff went on to say that the foundation education at the elementary and middle school prepares students for the more rigorous demands of high school. Currently, 36 percent of the students at Manassas Park High School are enrolled in Advanced Placement classes…
