Salt's Take: Walking into Hunan Gourmet, I didn't really know what to expect. The first words that came to my mind once I walked through the door was “greasy spoon.” Everything in the restaurant was clean enough (except for the lights) but it definitely had a dim and dingy vibe about it. I was very interested to read Salt and Pepper's reviews on this. They came away with two very different experiences. I tried this restaurant once and was, like Pepper, unimpressed. It's a shame because it is close to my home and I would love to have a good Chinese takeout nearby. Thanks for the review. more ›
