Prince William County Police said that there were no signs of forced entry into the Manassas business.
About $130,000 worth of machinery was recently stolen from a Manassas-area business, Prince William County Police said. Police responded on Friday at 11:35 a.m. to Sweet Baking Inc., at 7945 Wellingford Drive. Investigators found no signs of forced entry into the business. Donnell Alonte Murray, 23, of Manassas, was charged with burglary and assault and battery.
A Manassas man was charged with burglary and assault and battery after he allegedly threatened another man with a knife, Prince William County Police said. Donnell Alonte Murray, 23, of the 7900 block of Meadow Court in Manassas, was charged with burglary and assault and battery. Police responded to the incident on Oct. 14 at 6:47 p.m. The 45-year-old victim reported that he was on the 7500 block of Sage Street, near the shopping center on Streamwalk Lane, when Murray approached him. The two got into an argument and Murray pulled out a knife, police said. The victim ran to his home when Murray tried to force his way in. The burglary occurred over the weekend.
Employees at an air conditioning and heating installation company reported that thousands of dollars worth of missing equipment and tools were stolen over the weekend. Prince William County Police said that there were no signs of forced entry into Pope's Air on Hornbaker Road. The thief likely entered through an unsecured bay door between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 5 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 8. Tools and equipment worth $8,700 were reported missing to Prince William County police. Police responded to the burglary on Oct. 8 at 9:57 a.m.

A burglar stole a laptop, camera and a gun from the 9000 block of Rugby Road
Police responded to a burglary on the 9000 block of Rugby Road in Manassas on Sept. 25. A homeowner reported that the burglary occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The burglar apparently entered through a window by removing the air conditioning unit and stole a laptop, camera, and a firearm, valued around $3,700. Another, apparently unrelated, burglary was reported on the 7800 block of Pembridge Road in Manassas on Sept. 26, between 8:40 a.m. and 11 a.m. There were no signs of forced entry and no property was reported missing.
