Have been going to Y-C for three years, most loving and caring staff ever! Our Shih-Tzu gets a puppy cut, and we couldn't be more pleased. Plus, their vet staff is knowledgeable and caring, all shots up to date with reminders when they are coming due. The groomers LOVE our dog and can't say enough about how well behaved she is. When we board her there, she comes home happy. I don't know where these other people are on the home-obedience wagon, but our little girl is well behaved and, because of that, is loved by the staff. We think Y-C is THE place.

I was a loyal customer of the vet and groomer for nearly 5 years up until last June. Unfortunately, my dog jumped off the grooming table and got out of the muzzle. The groomer didn't realize that the muzzle was off and when she went to pick up the dog he bit her. That is not what my problem with Yappy is, the problem is what follows. The owner of Yappy REFUSING to pay for his employees injury - workmens comp?? He told his employee that she had to call and tell me that I had to pay and that animal control would be called. I recognize that it is standard practice to contact animal control when animal bites occur, but to say it in a threatening manner is not appropriate. I met the employee at urgent care and again the owner of Yappy was on the phone with the urgent care saying he would not be paying a dime. This worker - head groomer - had no insurance and because it was a work injury, urgent care had to file it as a workmans comp. I was concerned for the employee's well being and job security and in the heat of the moment offered to pay the bill. The bill which was $500 was 100% covered by ME. The business should not even be able to operate. Do they not have liability insurance? Workmans compensation? BEWARE and DO NOT GO TO YAPPY!!!

Oh my goodness, I wish I knew this before I took my 2 Pugs in today! I had the same experience!!! My Pugs looked like they did when I took them in... Well, not true, they shaved their 2 tails?!?!?! That was it- otherwise it looks like a 3 year old child took a lawn mower to their backs & then when I didn't get a refund this fat, old, short, middle-aged man yelled & screamed at me- Oh my God!! Customer relations, out the window. I have never been more angry in my life. Plus my Pugs were in kennels ALL day, because no one called when they were done- it is like my dogs were test subjects, are you kidding me- please, please do not take your dog or cat or any type of animal to the vet area- which is dirty, hairy, and the vet makes you wait an hour after your appt time, plus the awful, horrendous and pathetic grooming experience.
