City Offers Free Faither's Day Fridays

It's Better Than the Usual Uninspiring Father's Day Gift.

Release, Department of Parks and Recreation:

The Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation is offering a Father’s Day gift that lasts the entire month of June. Better than the traditional tie, socks and golf balls, this gift encourages good health and fitness and can be lots of fun.

Dads can drop in any “Father’s Day Friday” on June 6, 13, 20 and 27, and have access to the Community Center. The 80,000-sq.-ft. Center is located in Costello Park, just off of Old Centreville Road in Manassas Park. This public recreation facility features a NCAA-rated pool, a 20,000 sq. ft. gymnasium, a fitness center, aerobics studio, classrooms, computer lab and many other amenities.

The City’s Department of Parks and Recreation has a role in Shaping the Future for the young generation in the community, and healthy, physically fit fathers are a big help! Every Friday in June, use of the Center is free for all fathers from 6 am to 10 pm.

For more information, call the Community Center at 703-335-8872.
