Christmas Eve Services in Northern Virginia, J Fest, and Closures

Most government services will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. See what’s opened and what’s closed

The Dale City Baptist Church is hosting their Christmas Eve Service at 7 p.m. at 3501 Dale Blvd.

The Epiphany Lutheran Church is hosting a 6 p.m. service and a 10 p.m. service on Christmas Eve. The 6 p.m. service will have a special children’s message. The church is at 13495 Keystone Road in Dale City. 

The First Baptist Church of Woodbridge is hosting two Christmas Eve services at 5:30 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. at the church on 13600 Minnieville Road in Woodbridge.

Don’t celebrate Christmas? The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia is hosting their annual J Fest on Christmas Day. The event is at 11 a.m. on 8900 Little River Turnpike in Fairfax. There will be games, arts and crafts, a moon bounce, and kosher food will be served. More information.

Also on Christmas Day, view Hava Nagila (The Movie), a “documentary romp through the history, mystery and meaning of the great Jewish standard,” event organizers say. The event is at 3 p.m. on Christmas Day at the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia at 8900 Little River Turnpike in Fairfax. Find out more information
