Cub Scouts to Hold Open House Wednesday

Cub Scouts open house planned for Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Manassas Park Elementary School.

Manassas Park/Yorkshire Pack 1372 of the Cub Scouts will host an open house for interested boys and their parents Wednesday in Manassas Park.

 The hour-long open house will began at 7 p.m. at Manassas Park Elementary School.

 Any boy who will be enrolled in first, second, third, fourth or fifth grades this fall are eligible to join Cub Scouts.

 Cub scouting is about developing a spirit of community service, physical fitness and building character as well as teaching practical skills, according to club officials.  

 An area Girl Scout representative will be on hand Wednesday for girls in Kindergarten and older who are interested in scouting.
