Dog Park Fundraiser Planned for Saturday in Manassas Park
The event is from 10 a.m. to noon. The event is $5 per dog. Humans are free.
The dog days of summer are in full swing and the Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation is planning a special event for the canines Saturday.
The Canine Wellness Day is a not only a fundraiser for the Manassas Park Dog Park, but is also an education event for the canine variety and their human companions.
The two-hour event begins at 10 a.m. at the dog park behind the and will feature information about pet healthy and holistic medicine, among other things.

There will also be a canine agility course, rabies vaccinations and microchipping onsite.
