Manassas Park Varsity Wrestling Team Competes in Front Royal Tournament

The Manassas Park High School varsity wrestling team finished 12th in the Elite Opener tournament Saturday at Skyline High School in Front Royal, Mark Payne, the team's head coach said.

"I was hoping to finish higher than last at this tournament, however, many very good teams were finishing in the bottom five, as well," Payne said. "Robbie Ratchford and Zach Trueting were nice surprises at the tournament. Both wrestlers were seeded last, but both finished in the top six. Isaiah Baker also wrestled very well (Saturday.)"
