Manassas Park High Sends Two to Swim Meet
The two swimmers are Niecy Lindsay and Daniel Smith.
Manassas Park High sophomore Niecy Lindsay and senior Daniel Smith competed in the Virginia High School League AA/A swim and dive meet on Thursday in Christiansburg,Va.
Lindsay swam in the girls 200 freestyle event and placed 31st with a time of 2:21.33, her personal best, Manassas Park High Swim Coach Sam Olbes said.
Smith competed in the boys 100 breaststroke and placed 34th with a time of 1:14.49.

Olbes said this is the school's second year at the meet and hope to make it back again next year.
The Manassas Park swim team is just two years old, Olbes started the team in fall 2011.
