Manassas Park Girls Soccer Team Loses Season Opener

The Manassas Park High girls soccer team walked away from its season opener on Friday scoreless.
The girls traveled to C.D. Hylton High School in Woodbridge and were defeated 8-0.
Manassas Park's Abby Sowalla came away with 10 goalie saves, while Hylton High's Julia Suarez scored four points, the most for her team. Carmen Suarez of Hylton scored two points, while Kylee Bell and Jamie Biddle each had one assist.

The girls of Manassas Park will be on the road again this Friday when they go to play Rappanhannock High School in Rappanhannock, Va.
Meanwhile, Hylton High School will face Garfield High School in an away game on Tuesday.
