Manassas Park City School District on the AP District Honor Roll

The Manassas Park City School district is one of 477 school districts to earn a spot on the AP District Honor Roll.

The honor is issued by the College Board, which administers AP exams. School districts that increase access to AP course work and maintain the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP exams can earn the award.

According to the MPCS, since 2011, Manassas Park High School has increased the number of students participating in AP by 38 percent while improving the percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher by 15 percent.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by the College Board for the second time in four years,” Bruce McDade, superintendent of MPCS, stated in a press release.
