Snow Emergency Declared for Manassas Park

The snow emergency and snow emergency route parking restrictions go into effect at 8 a.m. Thursday.

The expected snowfall has led Manassas Park officials to declare a snow emergency for the city, effective 8 a.m. Thursday.

The snow emergency is in effect until at least 8 a.m. Friday, a full 24 hours, said Manassas Park city manager James "Jim" Zumwalt.

Parking restrictions on city streets deemed emergency snow routes are in effect from 8 a.m. Thursday to 8 a.m. Friday.

Those roadways are:

  • Manassas Drive from Baker Street to Golf Court
  • Denver Drive from Manassas Drive to Rugby Road
  • Digital Drive from Manassas Drive to West Carondelet Drive.
  • Matthew Drive
  • West Carondelet Drive
  • Polk Drive from Manassas Drive to Old Centreville Road.

Violators' vehicles will be ticketed and possibly towed.
