Poll: New Snowy Weather Policy for Federal Employees—What Do You Think?

The Office of Personnel Management announced a new snow policy for federal employees, how will it affect you?

The Washington Post reports that federal workers will have a new snow policy to follow this season: Go home or stay in the office until roads are clear.

Office of Personnel Management officials said, "In an emergency, employees may be restricted to their agency's premises for periods that extend beyond their normal tour of duty. Most employees will not be entitled to any additional pay for this extended period. However, employees who are required to remain in a state of readiness to perform work during this extended period may be entitled to overtime pay for standby duty."

So, how will this affect you?
