Manassas Park Public Works Continues Leaf Collection Efforts

Manassas Park Public Works is continuing its leaf collection efforts after Hurricane Sandy blew through the area this week.

Residents should rake leaves into a neat pile adjacent to the nearest curb, but out of the way of traffic.

Leaves will be vacumed by a sweeper truck, so bagged leaves won't be accepted unless it is a trash collection day.

Public works crews will come along each day to collect the leaves, as long as the weather permits.
