Manassas Park Police Investigating Teen Girl's Disappearance

As more information because available about the missing teen, police will post it on the department's website.

Manassas Park Police investigators are following up on leads in the case of a 16-year-old Manassas Park girl, Police Chief John Evans said.

Jordan Ashley Cox has been missing since July 22, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The police department didn't post any information about the missing teen on its website or reach out to the public through media outlets because investigators are trying to gather additional information, Evans said.

As additional information becomes available it will be posted on the website, the chief added.

Jordan is described as a white female, 5-foot-8 and 175 pounds.

Her hair is blond and her eyes are blue.

NCMEC lists her as an endangered runaway who may still be in the area, according to its website.

The notice about Jordan can be viewed here on the NCMEC website.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the center's tip line at 1-800-843-5678 (1-800-THE LOST)
