Howl-O-Ween Event Postponed Until Sunday

Forecast upsets plans for doggie costume party in Manassas Park.

Pups preparing to showcase their best halloween costumes will just have to wait one more day.

The much anticapted Howl-O-Ween event is postponed until Sunday because of Saturday's forecast, the Manassas Park Community Center announced early Friday.

 The city’s Howl-O-Ween costume party for dogs is scheduled to take place from 4-5 p.m. at the Manassas Park Dog Park located just behind the community center.

There will be several contests to enter for the dog who prefers bragging rights over treats.

 The categories are: Funniest Costume, Best Dog and Owner Costume, Most original costume, Best Halloween-themed costume and the “Haute” dog costume (best dog overall)

 The event is free to humans, but dogs should have $5 in their paws if they want to get in.
