Community Question: What would you like to see done with Manassas Park's oldest standing structure?

This 200-year-old antebellum house sits quietly atop a hill and acts as a slient witness to the changing world around it. 

In its shadow are two, fairly-modern Prince William County schools; below it, the gleaming new City Center development standing in stalk contrast to its deep, almost solemn, brown stone.

has stood the test of time, of battles and of wars and has made it well into the 21st century. So the question is, what now? What should be done with the Conner House?

The house is the property of the city of Manassas Park and is the responsibility of city's department of parks and recreation.

The house isn't open to the public, but its restoration is on the city's comprehensive plan.

Should it be a museum? Should it be remodeled and rented out as office space, perhaps to a law firm? Demolished? Sold?
