City Light Parade, Santa Fire and Police Visit This Week

Santa to visit every street in Manassas Park on Saturday before 5:45 p.m. light parade.

Santa Claus is slated to visit every street in Manassas Park Saturday to hand out candy, greet his young admirers and spread Christmas cheer to all.

Yes, Santa himself will ride on a Manassas Park Fire and Rescue truck escorted by Manassas Park Police beginning at 9 a.m. on the West end of the city.

The event will conclude Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m. after every street is visited.

But the excitement doesn't end there.

Just as the last light of day fades, the sixth annual night parade will light up the city.

The parade will begin at General Ridge's Golf Course at 5:45 p.m. and proceed down Manassas Drive, ending at 7 p.m. at the Manassas Park Police Department.

It doesn't cost anything to view the parade, but registration to be in the parade is $10 per vehicle. The last day to register is Dec. 8.
