Manassas native George Zimmerman is charged in connection with the death of Trayvon Martin, according to an unnamed law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation.
Prosecutors are expected to charge Manassas native George Zimmerman with second-degree murder in connection with the death Trayvon Martin, according to multiple media outlets.
An unnamed source with knowledge of the investigation said Zimmerman is in custody in Florida and charges are forthcoming.
Thousands across the nation have pushed for the arrest of Zimmerman, who authoritites said shot and killed a Trayvon but wasn't charged because it was an act of self defense.
