UPDATED: Unexplained Death in Manassas Park

No foul play suspected in death of 41-year-old man.

Manassas Park Police are investigating an unexplained death on Adams Street.

At 8 a.m. Police responded to a home on the 100 block of Adams Street in response to a report of an "unattended death," Manassas Park Police Divison Chief Karen Barton said. This means that no one was around when the person died, she added.

 A 41-year-old male was discovered deceased at the residence. No foul play is suspected.

It is not clear when authorities will release the name of the deceased, but family members and neighbors identify the man as Ricky Lorenz.

The investigation is ongoing and being conducted by the Manassas Park Police with assistance from the Prince William County Police Crime Scene Unit. The cause of death remains under investigation.
