Two Injured in Manassas Park Shooting

One person is in police custody in connection with the shooting, which happened just before 1 p.m. at a convenience store on Centreville Road

Two people were injured Saturday afternoon in a shooting at a Manassas Park convenience store.

It happened just before 1 p.m. at the Sheetz Convenience store at 8504 Centreville Rd., Manassas Park Police said.

The two victims, a 46-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, were transported to local hospitals for treatment, police said. The extent of their injuries isn't known.

Police arrested Blerand Hoxha,34, of Cabot Court in Manassas in connection with the shooting.

He is charged with two counts of malicious wounding, two counts of shooting a firearm into a dwelling and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. The incident is still under investigation by Manassas Park Police, with the help of investigators from Prince William and Manassas City.
