Two Charged With Selling Prescription Meds

Detectives found prescription medications, a cell phone and cash when they executed a search warrant, according to Prince William County Police.

Prince William County Police arrested two Manassas area residents after seizing prescription medications, said spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok.

Darcy Lou Montoya, 41, of Coverstone Court, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic. Tilo Salmeron Garcia, of Clemson Court, is charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic.

Detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation on June 13 and searched Montoya's residence. They found prescription medications, an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone, Perok said.

Police arrested Montoya and Garcia without incident, but held information about the arrest because of the investigation, Perok said. They are held without bond pending an August 16 court date.
