Prince William County Man's Disappearance Remains a Mystery

Shane Ryan Donahue's disappearance is still unaccounted for, three years after his family last saw him, according to Prince William County Police.

Despite three years of investigation, police are still baffled by the sudden disappearance of a Prince William County man.

Shane Ryan Donahue, 26, disappeared from his Nokesville home in the spring of 2010, and has made no contact with his family or friends ever since. Since then, Prince William County police have put in thousands of hours investigating and searching the county for him, according to police chief Stephan Hudson.

"We've had no luck whatsover," Hudson said recently about the case.

Detectives from the Cold Case Office and the Violent Crimes Bureau are asking the public to come forward with any information relating to Donahue's disappearance.

He was last seen on March 22 at his home; family members reported him missing on March 24. Donahue did not have access to a vehicle and frequently obtained rides from friends, police said. He has ties to Northern Virginia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore.
