Police were called to yet another shooting nearly an hour later across Grant Avenue on Brent Street, where they found two additional victims: a deceased male and a woman with non-life-threatening injuries from a machete attack, police said. The female victim was flown by helicopter to Fairfax hospital from nearby Osbourn High School.

Police immediately put out a vehicle and suspect description. Authorities in neighboring Prince William County discovered the suspect’s vehicle and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Police are interviewing the suspect, Nuemann said.

The investigation is ongoing but police said the two incidents are related and the suspect and victims knew each other. All the surviving victims have non-life-threatening injuries and they are expected to live, police said.

No charges have been filed at this time. The names of the suspect and victims have not been released.

Police gathered evidence and witness testimony at both scenes late into the night. Manassas City Police Chief Doug Keen told InsideNova.com the location of the second attack on Brent Street is the same address where a 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death while walking home from school in November.
