Teen Accused of Stealing Pack of Beer from Manassas Park Store

Police said two teenagers walked in a convenience store, one purchased a hot dog while the other decided to steal a case of beer.

Police are searching for a suspect who they say stole a 12-pack of beer while the clerk was preparing a hot dog, according to a press release issued by the Manassas Park Police Department.

It happened Jan. 27 when two teenage boys walked into the 7-Eleven store at 8521 Centreville Rd.

One of the boys ordered a hot dog, but when the clerk turned away to prepare it, the second boy grabbed a 12-pack of Budweiser and fled the scene, according to police reports.

The remaining teen paid for the hot dog and said he would get his friend to come back inside the store.

Both of the teens ran when the employee walked outside.

The beer was worth about $10, according to police reports.

No arrests have been made.
