Suspect Arrested in Home Invasion in Manassas Park

After almost a month of investigation, Manassas Park Police have arrested the man wanted in a Kristy Drive home invasion.

The suspect in a May 23 home invasion off Kristy Drive was arrested Tuesday afternoon, Manassas Park Police announced. 

DeShawn Lamount Nibblins, 19, is charged with armed robbery, burglary, abduction/kidnapping, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and grand larceny.

U.S. Marshals, Prince William County Police and Manassas Park Police apprehended Nibblins around 4 p.m. on the 8300 block of Sudley Road in the Manassas area.

Police said that no one was injured during the home invasion, when a man with a handgun forced his way inside the home and stole several items.
 

Police said that Nibblins was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear, and a grand jury indictment for grand larceny through the City of Manassas Police and Prince William County Police. He is held without bond at the Prince William Adult Detention Center, and a court date has not been set yet.
