Police: Teens Posted Inappropriate Pictures of Classmates Online

Victims from schools across the county, according to Prince William County Police.

Three area teens posted inappropriate pictures of classmates on several Instagram accounts, according to Prince William County Police.

A Woodbridge girl, 15, a Woodbridge boy, 14, and a Manassas boy, 13, were each charged with a count of computer harassment, according to a release by police spokesperson Jonathan Perok.

The students are accused of exploiting female students from several schools within
Prince William County.

"The juvenile suspects obtained inappropriate images of other juvenile students which were then posted on the application," Perok said. "Once discovered by police, the accounts were immediately shut down and owners identified."

School equipment wasn't used and the photos weren't taken at school, according to police.

Perok told InsideNova.com that the accused solicited nude photos from other teens and posted them on Instagram. The victims in the photos didn't know they were being shared with the accused.
