Police: Road Rage Incident Leads to Cell Phone Theft

Prince William County Police apprehended the suspect two days after the alleged theft.

After a motorcyclist became enraged at another driver, he stole the driver's cell phone, according to Manassas Park Police. 

Pany Bobby Chanthamixay, 23, of Nokesville, is charged with grand larceny and two counts of abduction.  

Manassas Park Police said that Chanthamixay was driving his 2008 Honda motorcycle around 4 p.m. May 30, when he began to yell at another driver. Police said that Chanthamixay reached inside the vehicle, stole a $350 Samsung Galaxy cell phone, then fled the scene.

Calls to the phone went straight to voicemail, but the victim was able to provide the motorcycle's tag number. 

Prince William County Police were able to find Chanthamixay in their jurisdiction on June 1. He is now held without bond pending a July 18 court date.
