Police: Manassas Park Man Points Gun at Door-to-Door Salesman

Police said the suspect demanded that the salesman get away from his door.

Manassas Park Police Department investigators said that man allegedly pointed a gun at the visitor and demanded he leave. 

It happened Aug. 13 at a home on Black Hawk Court in Manassas Park when a door-to-door salesman showed up on the suspect's porch, according to police.

The suspect opened the door, pointed a gun at the victim's face and told him to get away, Manassas Park Police reports show.

Police said the suspect later confessed to investigators that he had brandished a gun at the victim. He was taken before a magistrate court judge and released on a $2,500 personal recognizance bond.

He is expected to appeared in court in October. No injuries were reported.
