Police: Man Steals Cartons of Cigarettes
Prince William County Police search for a man who they say grabbed several boxes of cigarettes and ran as the clerk was scanning the merchandise.
Police are searching for a suspect who stole several cartons of cigarettes from a store on Centreville Road Saturday evening, according to a press release issued by the Prince William County Police Department.
It happened at 5:46 p.m. at a 7-11 convenience store on the 7800 block of Centreville Road, when a man walked in and asked for cigarettes.
While the clerk was scanning the merchandise, the man grabbed several cartons of cigarettes and ran, according to police reports.

The suspect is described as a black man between 35 and 40-years-old with black hair and a medium build, weighing about 175 pounds and standing 6 feet tall.
He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black knit cap, sunglasses with a red shirt and blue jeans.
