Police: Car Chases Second Car Through Manassas Park Streets

The driver of a Ford called police Monday and told them he was being chased by a Toyota.

Police are trying to determine who was behind the wheel of a car that chased and rammed a blue Ford Focus as it traveled through the streets of Manassas Park Monday.

It happened at 6:20 a.m. on Manassas Drive when someone called E-911 dispatch and reported two cars driving recklessly, Manassas Park Police reports show.

Moments later, the driver of one of the cars, a blue Ford Focus, called E-911 and said he was being chased by the driver of a red Toyota Tundra which had struck his car several times.

The victim told dispatchers the chase began at Travis Street and then the suspect followed him to Colfax Court and then to Manassas Drive. The hit and run happened at Colfax Court near Manassas Drive and Route 28, police reports show.

The victim wasn't injured but was visibly shaken, police said.

Police ask that any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident call  Manassas Police Officer Michael Fallon at 703-361-1136.

Exactly ten minutes later and those very streets would have been full of middle and high school kids waiting at their designated bus stops to go to school. I think that should be a contributing factor when this person is caught and sentenced and you WILL be sentenced because you WILL be caught. Guaranteed.
