Police Ask For Public Help in Locating Subject of Manassas Park Manhunt

The subject of the Tuesday night manhunt in Manassas Park has been identified as 24-year-old Irving Charles Honesty of Manassas, according to a press release issued Thursday by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

 Authorities attempted to arrest Honesty at the corner of Centreville Road and Manassas Drive Tuesday at about 9:30 p.m. but he fled into a wooded area and is still on the run, according to police reports.

 Honesty is described as a black man, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 155 pounds.

His last known address is 10330 Butternut Circle in Manassas, according to ATF officials.

 He is charged with using or carrying a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence or drug trafficking crime, ATF Special Agent Mike Campbell said.

 He also has pending arrest warrants out of Prince William County and the city of Manassas in connection with the charges of hit and run, resisting arrest and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
