Manassas Park Woman Charged with Hit and Run

Police said suspect hit the victim's car as he prepared to leave for work Tuesday.

A Manassas woman was arrested Tuesday after police said she hit someone's car as they were preparing to leave for work, Manassas Park Police reports show.

Jennifer Joan Bretza, 25,  of Kent Drive is charged with hit and run of an occupied vehicle and public drunkeness, according to reports. 

It happened Tuesday at 8:06 p.m. on the 200 block of Kent Drive when the victim was sitting in his car, getting ready to leave for work.

That's when the suspect struck the victim's car and fled the scene, despite the fact the car had a flat tire, according to police reports.

Police later located the suspect who told police she was intoxicated and had struck the victim's car.

No injuries were reported.

She was taken to the adult detention center in Manassas and later released on a $4000 bond.

She is slated to appear in court in January.
