Manassas Park Men Charged in Gang Shootout

Police said a Manassas Park man fired a gun at two men on Old Centreville Road Saturday evening.

Two Manassas Park men were arrested Saturday after police said they were involved in a gang-related shootout on Old Centreville Road in Manassas.

Efrain Mancha,19, of 157 Old Centreville Rd in Manassas Park is charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, one count of reckless handling
of a firearm and three counts of gang participation, Prince William County Police reports show.

It happened Saturday at 6:53 p.m. on the 8200 block of Old Centreville Road in Manassas when police say what started as a verbal altercation between the two suspects and the two victims spun out of control.

A 30-year-old Manassas Park man and a 26-year-old Manassas man told police that Efrain Mancha pulled out a gun and fired it at them, according to Prince William Police reports.

The two victims ran and called police, who located the suspects quickly and arrested them.

No injuries or property damage were reported during the shootout, according to police reports.

Both suspects are being held without bond and are expected to appear in court on Oct. 22.
