Manassas Park Police responded on June 16 at 4:42 p.m. to a call reporting an armed robbery on the 100 block of Tremont Street, after cash and an iPhone were stolen. Prince William County and Manassas City police assisted as officers apprehended two 17-year-old males in Costello Park.

Prince William County Police and the U.S. Marshals Service apprehended Whitter in Woodbridge.

Whitter is listed in Prince William County Circuit Court records as having been granted bail in April on a separate robbery charge. He is also scheduled for sentencing in October on a grand larceny charge.

Police charged two 17-year-old males from Woodbridge on June 16. They followed that by arresting an unidentified 17-year-old Woodbridge male on June 18 and arresting Adrian Cordyll Shanklin, 18, of Woodbridge, on June 19. Both are charged with robbery, abduction/kidnapping, malicious wounding and other offenses.

Whitter is held without bond at the adult detention center pending a July 26 court date.
