Eight Arrests in Prescription Drug Investigation

Cash and narcotics were also seized during the investigation near Manassas Park, according to Prince William County Police.

An investigation into the the possession and sale of prescription medications in the Manassas Park area ended in early March with several arrests, Prince William County Police announced.

Eight people were arrested on March 8 by members of Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force, the Prince William County Police Gang Unit and the Prince William County Police Street Crimes Unit.

Narcotics and cash were also seized, police said.

News of the arrests were withheld because of investigation purposes.

  • Thomas Mark Leager, 25, of 5700 Bethany Church Rd in Bumpass. Charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic
  • Charles Edward Hamm II, 42, of 324 Kirby St. in Manassas Park. Charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic
  • Richard Earl Carico, 32, of 2218 Hazel Mountain Rd in Dante. Charged with possession of a schedule I or II narcotic
  • Thomas Ray Munda, 21, of 10104 Oxford Ct in Nokesville. Charged with possession of a schedule I or II narcotic
  • Joshua Allen Cook, 23, of 7632 Shelley Ln in Manassas. Charged with conspiracy to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic
  • Robert Eugene Kiger, 27, of 6445 Token Forest Rd. in Manassas. Charged with possession of a schedule I or II narcotic
  • John Darnell Bleckly Jr., 47, of 5326 Southampton Dr. in Springfield. Charged with possession of a schedule I or II narcotic
  • Justin Michael Gray, 26, of 124 Tremont St. in Manassas. Charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy to violate the Drug Control Act.
