Police: Man Threw Sledgehammer Through Restaurant Window. Employees at the El Espino Restaurant refused to serve a Haymarket man alcohol—so he went outside to his vehicle, grabbed a sledgehammer and threw it through the window, Manassas Park Police said. 

Home Burglarized As Gainesville Residents Hid in Bedroom. A Gainesville home was burglarized early Monday morning as the residents hid inside a bedroom, Prince William County Police said. 

Haymarket House Fire Under Investigation by Fire Marshal's Office, The fire was brought under control in 20 minutes, firefighters said. 

Firefighters Kick Off 'Fill the Boot' Campaign Monday. Prince William County and Manassas Park firefighters will be out in the streets collecting funds for their annual "Fill the Boot" collection to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
