Crime Blotter: Wallet Stolen at Signal Hill Water Park

Some of the latest crimes reported in the Manassas Park police jurisdiction.

Petit larceny: A man's wallet was stolen at Signal Hill Water Park while he played with his kids in the pool, Manassas Park police said.

The victim reported on June 1 that sometime between 3:30 and 5:30, someone stole the wallet and its contents from his duffel bag. Later that evening, an employee of the Magic Putting Place in Manassas called to tell him that someone had turned in the wallet to a staff member. 

Police are reviewing video surveillance footage for possible suspects.

Petit larceny: The victim left a handbag in an unlocked Chevrolet on Scott Drive between 12:59 a.m. and 1:20 a.m. May 27. That was long enough for the handbag, and everything inside, to be stolen. The value was $115. 

Shoplifting: Employees at the 7-Eleven on Euclid Avenue reported that two males entered the store, went to the refrigerated area and put two bottles of wine in a yellow bag. They left the store without paying for the wine, which was worth about $20.
