Crime Blotter: Residential Burglaries in Manassas

Jewelry, three TVs, a laptop and more were stolen from Manassas area homes recently.

Prince William County Police recently responded to reports of two apparently unrelated burglaries in the Manassas area. 

Oct. 19: A homeowner on the 15500 block of Boar Run Court reported that a burglary occurred between 11:27 a.m. and 6 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry, and police believe the burglar entered through an open door in an attached garage. The homeowner reported that three mountain bikes were missing. The value was about $700. 

Oct. 21: Police responded to a homeowner's call on the 3600 block of Fayette Court. The homeowner reported that the burglary occurred between 10 a.m. Oct. 20 and 12:01 a.m. Oct. 21. No property was missing, but someone rummaged through several cabinets. There were no signs of forced entry.
