Copper Pipes Stolen from Vacant Manassas Park Home

Manassas Park Police say the theft happened earlier this month. They are also searching for clues in theft of $4,900 in tools.

Investigators are trying to uncover who is responsible for several thefts reported this month in Manassas Park.

The first happened on Alpine Street, sometime between Feb. 8 and Feb. 13 at 10:54 a.m. Manassas Park Police said. 

Someone took $500 in copper pipes from the home which was vacant at the time, police said

A short while later, someone stole $4,900 in tools from a van parked on Pierce Street.

Sometime between 7 p.m. on Feb. 13 and 6:18 the next morning, police said someone pried open the rear doors of the work van and took one DeWalt circular saw and one Makita circular saw, a DeWalt table saw, a Honda generator and air compressor, a Milwaulkee hammer drill as well as Hitachi framing guns and nailers.

Both cases remain under investigation. Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to call Manassas Park Police at 703-361-1136.
