Check Cashing Store Robbed

A man armed with a knife robbed the Super Check Cashing Thursday.

Prince William County Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed a check cashing store at knifepoint. 

On Thursday at 7:36 p.m., police responded to a call from Super Check Cashing on Festival Lane in the Manassas area, where employees reported that the store had just been robbed. The man showed a knife, took an undisclosed amount of money, then fled on foot. No injuries were reported. 

The suspect was described as about 24-26 years old, with a thin build, about 6'2", black, with short black hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, gloves and dark jeans.
