A vandal trashed a 2008 Nissan with a cinderblock last week, Manassas Park Police said.

The car was parked on Lanae Lane between July 29 and July 30,  when a cinderblock was used to damage the hood, windshield, mirror, headlights, rear quarter panel and driver side door.

The victim said that he did not know of anyone who would want to vandalize the vehicle. The total damage was about $2,000, police said.

In a separate incident, a 2005 Ford van was reported vandalized on July 29 at 5:44 p.m. The rear window of the van was broken while it was parked on Baker Street, but it did not appear anyone had entered. The total amount of damage was reported at $150.
