Weekend Planner: Zumbathon, Occoquan Craft Show

What to do in and around Manassas rain or shine this weekend.

There are a few events happening around the area this weekend if you're looking to stay in town. While the forecast Saturday calls for possible showers and thunderstorms, you could catch some of these outdoor events on Sunday, too.

There is a Habitat for Humanity "Zumbathon" at Brickhouse Cardio Club from 1 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. There's a $20 fee at the door, or you can prepay here. The cardio club is located at 9402 Center Point Ln. in Manassas.

"Drug Take Back Day" is Saturday at various locations throughout the county. You can dispose of unwanted or expired prescription drugs with no questions asked.

The Occoquan Craft Show returns to Occoquan waterfront this Saturday and Sunday. Thousands of shoppers will flood the streets of Occoquan and peruse local and handmade arts, crafts and jewelry during the Occoquan Fall Arts and Crafts Show. Last year, over 10,000 people attended the spring show.

It's held rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
